No experience is necessary. Our beginner workshops are designed specifically for first-timers. An instructor guides you step-by-step through gathering hot glass, shaping, color application, and blowing.

Closed-toe shoes are mandatory.
We will provide eye protection but your glasses work well too!
It’s best to wear natural fibers such as 100% cotton shirts and jeans because synthetic fabrics can lose their shape with the heat.
Avoid loose sleeves or dangling jewelry. Bring a hair tie if you have long hair.

No, it’s too hot!
Your piece has to cool overnight.
our finished piece will be ready for pickup or shipping within the week!

Temperatures near the furnaces can get up to 115 on hot days in the summer.
We recommend drinking plenty of water before, during, and after class to stay hydrated. We always have bottles of water available.

Cancellation is available 72 hours in advance with a $10.00 admin fee per person.
Our studio runs on a tight schedule so we’re unable to offer refunds for no-shows.
Please arrive 30 minutes before your lesson time, late arrivals are considered no shows.

For groups 2 and under, we’ll work together for between 1 .
For groups over 2, we’ll work with you to create a workshop 2, 4, or 6 hours long.

Temperatures near the furnaces run warmer than normal room temperatures. We recommend hydrating before and after class! We always have water available.

Absolutely! Record all the fun while watching your classmates. When it’s your turn, you'll need both hands free and eyes on the molten glass, so leave the filming to your group while you craft your masterpiece!

Water only please! Working near the furnaces gets warm, so we strongly encourage everyone to bring their own water bottle!
To keep our working studio safe, clean, and free of hazards, outside food and other beverages are not permitted in the hot shop.
